Noggin 被認(rèn)為是同時對BMP及抗BMP生物活性物質(zhì)均具有高親和性的結(jié)合蛋白中的一種。在胚胎干細(xì)胞培養(yǎng)過程中加入Noggin，可以有效提高干細(xì)胞的多能性。
重組的人Noggin蛋白在進(jìn)行移動單一多肽鏈處理后共包含216個氨基酸，并且達(dá)到預(yù)測的分子量24.6kDa。 糖基化反應(yīng)后，隨著反應(yīng)條件的變化，Noggin逐漸集結(jié)成SDS-PAGE從而達(dá)到大約30kDa的分子量。
StemRD公司生產(chǎn)的Noggin來源于經(jīng)過翻譯后特異性修飾的人293細(xì)胞，且經(jīng)過一系列的色譜分析方法對產(chǎn)品進(jìn)行純化。

Noggin,human 產(chǎn)品英文簡述：
Noggin has been shown to be a high-affinity binding protein to BMP and antagonizes BMP bio-activities. It can be added to cell culture medium for embryonic stem cells to maintain pluripotency.
The recombinant human Noggin comprises 216 amino acids after removal of the signal peptide and has a predicted molecular mass of 24.6 kDa. As aresult of glycosylation, it migrates as an approximately 30 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
StemRD's Noggin is made in human 293 cells, which renders humanspecific post-translational modifications. We purified this product through a series of chromatography.
