The StemSep™ Human Primitive Hematopoietic Progenitor Cell Enrichment Kit is designed to isolate primitive hematopoietic progenitor cells from fresh or previously frozen mobilized peripheral blood, cord blood or bone marrow by negative selection. Unwanted cells are targeted for removal with Tetrameric Antibody Complexes recognizing CD2, CD3, CD14, CD16, CD19, CD24, CD36, CD38, CD45RA, CD56, CD66b, glycophorin A and dextran-coated magnetic particles. Labeled cells are separated using StemSep™ columns and magnets.

This product is shipped at room temperature. Once opened, stable at 2 - 8°C for 6 weeks. Stable at -20°C for 1 year. Repeated freezing and thawing is possible but not recommended. Vortex before re-freezing. This product has been sterility tested.

The frequency of CD34+38- cells in the enriched fraction typically ranges from 56 - 76% (fresh MPB), 44 - 64% (fresh or frozen CB), 30 - 80% (fresh BM), and 16 - 40% (frozen BM). * %CD34+CD38- cells in start fractions are typically too low to detect accurately using FACS, therefore values given are approximations.
